Service-oppurtunities

Park a car, serve a cookie, extend a handshake, teach a child, lead a bible study. What do these things have in common? They are volunteer opportunities that take us beyond ourselves that God uses to impact others, change us and give everyone significance. Find your place in a ministry and your reward in heaven by volunteering. The following list contains ministries that you can get connected with.

Children’s Ministry: Responsible for the teaching and training of our children, Pre School through 6th grade. Curriculum and training will be required. All children’s workers submit to a background check.

Encouragement Ministry: A ministry designed to assist and encourage those and their families encountering health concerns, hospital stays, and other temporary situations. This is accomplished through meal support, prayer, fellowship, and being available to give support to those in need.

Student Ministry: Responsible for the care and growth of our Teens.

Women’s Ministry: Responsible for the teaching, training and care of the women in our church.

Ushers Ministry: This ministry is responsible for assisting guests and members in the scheduled services at Covenant with seating, directions, and collection of offerings. In addition, we ensure that the church is clean, while assisting other ministries with needs that may arise during the services.

Greeters Ministry: A ministry which welcomes, greets, answers questions and distributes materials to guest and members alike for each scheduled service at Covenant.
Armor Bearer Ministry: This ministry provides security and service for the Pastor and/or guest speakers while attending to their personal needs before, during and after church services. They ensure security and order for the people and facilities at all times.

Audio Visual Ministry: Responsible for working such things as the sound board and power point presentations for service.

Hospitality Ministry: Responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests and members to meet and enjoy refreshments after church services.

CD Ministry: Responsible for providing teaching and counseling materials to those in the church.
