n. entering into an intentional relationship
in which people are encouraged, equipped
and trained in God’s Word;
challenged to grow toward maturity in Christ
and taught to replicate themselves in others.
So what’s the difference between Bible Study and Discipleship? Both are teaching. But discipleship is teaching for the purpose of training. Jesus taught the multitudes, but he trained twelve disciples. Discipleship is the vehicle God uses to expand his kingdom in the church and throughout the world.
